We have very few babies relative to the "Big" breeders. I will never add many more pairs, for we would not be able to do the good job we do at socializing the babies if we added much more. Our babies are limited in number and usually are reserved very early in their life. I want to maintain our enthusiasm and continue to spend oodles of time with each wee one; we would not be able to do that with a whole ton of babies. 2010 arrived and we reduced our number of pairs even more....We only have 11 breeding pairs of psittacines....

Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure

If you are interested in a Yellow sided Green Conure, it is looking like a prolific year and we are accepting deposits to reserve your baby now. This is true also with the Crimson Bellied Conures!

Zumo and Kaida hatched 3 babies. We are handfeeding them.They look like they are going to lay again.

Zumo/Kaida are on 3 eggs again

All 3 of Zumo's current babies are reserved by Mary K, Robert and by Mary L. We do have 12 more green cheek eggs and will accept deposits on these upcoming babies.

Sadie appears to have 4 babies. It is hard to tell when they are all piled up in the nest box.

It is a hard decision for us whether or not to candle eggs due to not wanting to disturb the pairs. Well, bad news. Neither Rhett/Scarlett's not Tyler/Millie's eggs were fertile when we finally did candle them
